Female police officer on Australia’s Gold Coast was overpowered by a man she was attempting to arrest. Police were responding to a call of two men sleeping inside a luxury car early Wednesday morning. An altercation ensued that saw the female officer deploy her taser. The man she was attempting to arrest shrugged it off and overpowered her. “The female officer has suffered a number of cuts, abrasions, and contusions to her head but… she is expected to recover without any significant issues,” Queensland Police said.
