France and Italy have agreed to provide Ukraine with mobile surface-to-air missile systems, according to the French Defense Ministry. The SAMP/T air defense system, consisting of vehicle-mounted medium-range missiles, will be deployed in Ukraine in the next two months, following an urgent request from Ukraine's Defense Minister. This is not the first time that France has assisted Ukraine's air defense, as Paris has previously pledged two Crotale NG systems to Kyiv.
