Today, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) unveiled a video showcasing Chandrayaan-3's Rover descending from the Lander to the lunar surface. Prior to this, ISRO had shared a photograph of Chandrayaan-3's Lander on the moon's surface, captured by Chandrayaan-2's Orbiter High-Resolution Camera. ISRO made history with Chandrayaan-3's successful soft landing on the lunar surface, occurring on a Wednesday evening at pm IST. This achievement marks India as the first country to softly land a spacecraft near the lunar south pole and only the fourth nation in history, following the United States, the Soviet Union, and China, to achieve a gentle lunar landing. ISRO subsequently confirmed that all systems of Chandrayaan-3 are functioning normally, and all activities are proceeding as scheduled, just a day after the landing. #isro #chandrayaan3 #pragyan #chandrayaan3landing #chandrayaan3latestnews Subscribe to The Times of India's YouTube channel: For daily news & updates and exclusive stories, follow the Times of India Facebook: Instagram: Download the app: Follow TOI for well-researched and in-depth news and analysis Facebook: Twitter: Instagram:
