A week later, it began to rain, which, according to the forecast, should have lasted about five days. At this time, it was difficult to fish or go mushrooming, so Frank and his grandfather spent a lot of time at home, in a cozy grandfather's house. Frank's grandfather lived in a small wooden hut, it was very modest, but incredibly comfortable. It was always especially beautiful here, it smelled of wood and a fireplace, Lussy the cat slept on a stool, and a kerosene lamp emitted a pleasant and cozy light. Frank felt like in a fairy tale here, safe and comfortable. During those rainy days, they played board games, read books, ate delicious homemade cakes, sang songs, and played the guitar. Outside the window it was raining, which made the sounds of falling drops on the glass, the fireplace was burning, and the firewood was crackling. At that moment, grandfather and grandson experienced an incredible feeling of happiness and joy from being in each other's company.
