The Chief Scout praises 10,000 Scouts in great West Country 'Jamboree' - who 'carried on' despite torrential downpour which turned vast 'canvas city' into a 'sea of mud.“ Corston, Nr Bath, Avon. Pan across large Boy Scout camp. Lots of bell and ridge tents. The Chief Scout - Lord Baden-Powell - walks with other scouters. They are walking over duck boards put down because of the mud. He walks into a tent. BP with Girl Guides and Boy Scouts inspecting cooking pots. BP and others walk past two boys who appear to have some physical disability. The Chief Scout is being followed by a woman carrying a strange quilted flag. BP walks up onto podium. Back view of BP and woman (Chief Guide ?) as the gathered Scouts and Guides march past. Scouts and Cubs run across field to gather around B.P. Some of them raise their hats on poles. Scouts in the foreground wave their hats and caps.
