White Cloud Mountain Minnow Biotope

I set this biotope aquarium up for Practical Fishkeeping. It was featured in the December 2009 issue. A photo of this tank was the cover image for the magazine. The rocks were collected in Cornwall. There are 12 fish, Tanichthys albonubes. Substrate is play sand and pea gravel for decoration. The tank is 60x30x30cm and holds around 50 litres. It is filtered with a larger external filter and glass pipework to minimise the impact of the equipment on the aquascape. It's the cheapest and simplest aquari
