Dexter Gordon, who gradually became obsessed with drugs after the 1950s, completely eradicated the bad habits of drugs and recovered his health in 1960. His subsequent play made him feel more human than ever before, and by blowing unassumigly, unpretiously, faithfully to himself, and obediently, he made the listener feel melancholy.
