Trick: Say good by to halos when applying ReDesign Transfers on furniture.

🌞 Good Morning, lovely souls! 🌞 I am Silvia from Los MiMis Armoire in Switzerland. Today on my YouTube channel, I would like to share a simple yet effective trick for minimizing those pesky halos when applying transfers to furniture. Let's banish those halos together and take our furniture transformations to the next level! Here's the secret sa: 🩷First, prep your furniture by giving it a fresh coat of paint. (in one I mixed differnt rest of color unti I got a nic minty shade and for the second one I used Antique Ros). Depending on the surface, one or two coats. Let it dry completely. 🩷Next, apply your desired transfer and let it sit for a couple of hours. 🩷Now, here's where the magic happens: lightly wet the surface with water, then grab a soft contrast paint—I used a lovely Soft Beige for mine. Apply it generously over the transfer. 🩷Quickly cover the painted area with a brush and then gently remove the excess paint with a microfiber sponge. 🩷For an extra touch, try a strong distress technique. Since the paint is softened by the water, distressing becomes a breeze! 🩷Finally, protect your masterpiece with a coat of varnish or wax to seal in the beauty.
