Rare, live audio of SWANS playing at Danceteria in New York in 1984 during their excruciatingly heavy 'Cop / Young God' era. SWANS were (& still are) known to play at excessively loud volume. I can personally attest to this, having seen them in 1995, 1996, & 2014. Crowds were known to flee the venues in terror in '84, covering their ears, leaving only a handful of attendees behind. 1.
