Combat work of reconnaissance and attack UAV operators of the Vostok group of troops Crews of the combat use of high-precision loitering ammunition Lancet by units of unmanned motorized rifle aircraft of the Vostok group of troops successfully hit armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including those produced by NATO countries, during combat operations in the South Donetsk direction of a special military operation. The Lancet loitering munition works in tandem with a reconnaissance drone. While the reconnaissance drone is searching for targets, a Lancet is installed on the catapult, on board which is about three kilograms of explosives. The Lancet’s cruising speed is about one hundred kilometers per hour, but when approaching the target and diving at it, it accelerates by about one and a half times. The enemy has virtually no chance of avoiding being hit by loitering ammunition. The advantage of the Lancet is that it is less susceptible to enemy electronic warfare; it is superior to much cheaper analogues in the form of FPV drones in height, impact power and range. The Lancet is capable of hitting identified enemy targets at a distance of up to 30 kilometers. Bird, as fighters affectionately call drones, is unpretentious - it works in fog, rain, and snow.
