Tutorial on how to paint, almost like watercolors, on Ceamics. I use Iron oxide and Copper oxide mixed with Water and Sodium Carbonate. Beautiful results on Stoneware clay! DIY with simple recipe! I have been using this method for many years now and I burn my ceramics in an electric Kiln. So far the Kiln has survived and I can't see any damage to the heating elements etc. If you choose to try this out, it's of course your own responsibility! It might damage your Kiln. The Sodium Carbonate is a kind of salt and the fumes might stick to the inside of your kiln.
