Hotel California, if it were written by Johnny Cash. This project has been on the shelf since April 2023, and just the other day me and my friend had time to finish recordings for it. As you might be able to tell, this is done in Johnny's style of the later American Recordings, and more specifically in the style of 'Hurt'. Very bare bones in terms of instrumentation. Acoustic guitar, piano, bass, electric guitar for a small interlude and bass guitar. Giving ample room for the haunting vocals to shine through, slowly building up to an almost distorted crescendo during the chorus and at the ending.
