The true lab is definitely one of the creepiest parts of the game, according to what I’ve found out, Gaster was the one who started the experiments and wrote entries from 1-8 but when Alphys took over after Gaster’s disappearance, she screwed up big time by not understanding how dangerous determination was... bringing back to life monsters that should’ve stayed dead, leaving them trapped in bodies that are not theirs completely with the pain of being melted...
