A 4.5 mile commute home through the core of the Christmas Lake Effect Blizzard over Buffalo NY. Snowfall rates of 2”/hr and winds gusting over 65mph creating pure whiteout conditions. By mid evening roads across the city are becoming heavily drifted and travel is impossible. These conditions raged across the city for 30 consecutive hours.
