The recording features Jascha Heifetz (1901-1987) a Russian-born American who was the one of the most acclaimed violinists of the 20th Century. He is accompanied on piano by Brooks Smith. This recording comes from a sealed RCA LP. This recording (and then video) was made the first time it was heard. It shows that even a sealed and never played recording still has a bit of noise and the occasional crackle or tick. I thought I would post this as way to hear what a new recording would have sounded like back in 1967. Luckily, RCA used plastic liners for their sleeves and that prevented some of the acid burn that came from the cover to the sleeve but did not contact the record. Track List: 00:00 Sibelius: Nocturne 03:06 Wieniawski: Capriccio-Valse 06:49 Rachmaninoff: Daisies 08:39 Rachmaninoff: Oriental Sketch
