Collaborative Robot with vision system solving a puzzle

The TM5 collaborative robot has a revolutionary integrated vision system that is deployed via a 5MP camera and integrated software. This vision system allows the cobot to use its camera to see and detect objects, shapes, colours, text, bar codes and QR codes. This creates an endless range of applications as the camera, software and cobot are seamlessly integrated as a package direct from the Techman Robot factory. In this example, the cobot has been programmed by Australis Engineering with the very user friendly TM-Flow software to detect different objects (puzzle pieces) based on their shape and to pick an object and match it correctly with its position on the puzzle board. The TM-Flow software comes with the cobot and is an easy to use ladder style programme. While this is a fun demonstration at a trade show, it also has practical applications.
