Russian Paratroopers Evacuate Captured Ukrainian “Leopard 2A6“ Tank from the Battlefield in Kursk Region The captured Ukrainian tank “Leopard 2A6,“ manufactured in Germany, was evacuated by a repair and evacuation group of the airborne forces (VDV) to the location of the Guards Airborne Assault Regiment of the Tula Airborne Division from the area near the settlement of Daryino in the Kursk region. The tank was destroyed by an FPV drone operator from the separate reconnaissance battalion of the Tula paratroopers, known by the call sign “Zyaba,” during winter 2025. While combat operations aimed at pushing Ukrainian forces out of the border areas of the Kursk region were ongoing, this NATO weapon remained in the same spot where it was hit by our drone operator.
