This Saturday there was a 4.4 magnitude earthquake in the Italian region of Lombardy. The epicenter was at a depth of 26 kilometers in Bonate Sotto, 34 kilometers northeast of Milan. The tremors were clearly felt in Milan and many people left their homes for safety. Also, some schools were evacuated as a precautionary measure. Social media was filled with messages from people about panic and that they were terrified. One of the metro lines in Milan was stopped for a few minutes. The earthquake was also clearly felt in Bergamo, Como and Brianza. At the moment, there have been no reports of material or personal damage.
