In Batumi, Georgia, a concert by the American rock band The Killers was disrupted because of a Russian drummer on stage. The band has a tradition: at each concert they call a random person from the audience to the place of the drummer for one of the songs, this time the choice fell on a guy from Russia. When he went up to the stage and said where he was from, a disapproving buzz and shouts rose up in the hall. The group played the prescribed song and reacted to shouts, whistles and gestures addressed to them: the vocalist said that he did not divide people by nationality and all of the “brothers and sisters” who came, after which a real hell began in the hall - some people left the concert, and part proceeded to boo the band, which finished the concert. After that, the group on social networks apologized because of the Russian invited to the stage and stated that their words about brotherhood could be misinterpreted. Источник: Siberian matrёshka🪆
