Series with focus on releases from the 80s software houses. Playlist with all videos here: Abbex Electronics was founded by Mark Nunan and Martin Ford whilst at Middlesex Polytechnic in 1982. Their first game were Cosmos (written by Costa Panayi / Vortex Software). Further games quickly followed with Spoookyman (a Pacman knock off), Krakatoa and All or Nothing amongst a host of other games which forced the company to move from the front room of one of the founders to offices in Bedford. In 1984 the company was approached by Amstrad and Vtech to write games for the launch of their respective computers. The company also wrote six games for the Laser Computer, which never really went on sale in the UK. The financial loss led to the company being sold and the directors going their own way.
