This is the sound differences between two drummers, the first drummer is James (hes actually a bass player that can play a beat), the second drummer is Matthew David from “Keplers Law“, He has been playing since he was 4 years old and has been playing professionally for over 15 years in Clubs, Casino’s, studio’s Festivals, etc. This is an example of how much the sound depends on how the drums are played not just sound gear, mics and sound engineering. On this demo there are no triggers, just live off the floor. Gear used: Moto-X (for video) Audio: M-audio interface (Fast track pro) Cubase LE (drum tracking) VTP-1 Digitech Tube preamp ART tube preamp Alesis compressor Behringer 1204usb mixing board MICs AT2020’s (over heads) EV PL60 (tom mic) Audio technica “KitPak“ snare/tom mic on floor tom Audio technica “KitPak“ tom/bass on kick Lanier Mic on snare Happy watching and enjoy.
