Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is reportedly missing after a helicopter he was travelling in was forced to make a “hard landing,” according to state media. A large-scale search operation is underway, involving Red Crescent rescue teams, military personnel, and police support units, Tasnim news agency reported. Local residents have reported foggy conditions in the area, which is hindering efforts to locate the helicopter and determine its status. Other officials onboard the helicopter included the governor of East Azerbaijan province and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
