I went into Nier last month with high expectations, maybe even higher than Breath of the Wild or Persona 5. Upon finishing this game, I think this is my contender for Game of the Year so far. The gameplay was intoxicating and the story was mind twisting but above all else, this game's soundtrack is probably my favorite game soundtrack since Undertale. Even after pouring hours into the medley, the OST still manages to move me to tears. With the game fresh in my head after going into this, I knew I was going to go big with it, but I had no idea it'd be my thickest medley yet.
