This is one of two filmed bootlegs of the original London production of Chess at the Prince Edward Theatre, but the only one featuring the original cast. The video was sourced from a house monitor and the audio recorded directly from the soundboard. The exact date of recording is unknown but it is likely to be from some time early in the original 1986 run since it contains the full Golden Bangkok dance at the beginning of Act II and a couple of flubbed lines from Murray. Apologies for the heavy generation loss. The transfer of first act also suffered from heavy noise which I have attempted to filter out.
