A few more early Wendell and Wild character development tests that I animated. You should probably turn the sound up real LOUD for the first one. Second test was a simple walk test, although trying to get a decent stride out of a puppet that is essentially a beach ball with stumpy legs was challenging. The 3rd test shows Wendell walking at different frame rates. The first step is on 1’s and then switches to “one and a half’s” and the finally goes into full doubles. We wanted to experiment with mixing frames rates whenever necessary rather than strictly sticking to singles. The 4th test shows some experiments with multiple limbs that were actually just photocopies of the arms pinned into place for a frame or two.
