IF IN DOUBT FLAT OUT - WILD RUN FOR 2600cc VW BEETLE + INTERVIEW

Andreas Jonsson in his 1964 VW Beetle, running a built waterboxer engine, running in the Cash Days Competition at the SCC Event in Norway. He had a small scare in one of the runs, when his car wheeled off the line and pulled left (towards me). Andreas kept his foot in, and gathered it back up for the win. Andreas made it through to the 1/4 finals, where he got knocked out by the Mexxspeed Racing K-Ghia, when he unfortunatley red lit. These videos are of runs in order of speed, not the order they were run in.
