Full title reads: “Introducing SIR CEDRIC HARDWICKE - who will say a few words.“ Unknown (presumably London). Sir Cedric Hardwicke is sitting at his desk. A telephone rings. He answers - promising to make an appeal on behalf of Cinematograph Benevolent Fund. He rises and starts speaking into camera. He makes an appeal. A special gramophone record made by 24 stars, he explains, is on sale at the Empire Theatre now - 24 American and British stage and screen stars. Money from its sale, one shilling from each record sold, goes to charity - Cinematograph Benevolent Fund. He urges the public to by it. Note: There is no mention of this item in paperwork.
