Complex Magazine: Eminem used his platform at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards to deliver a message about gun control on Sunday night. Introduced by fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean and a survivor of the Parkland school shooting named Alex Moscou, the performance was preceded by a politically-charged moment when the audience was asked to join the #MarchForOurLives on March 24. “We're tired of hearing politicians send their thoughts and prayers to us, and doing nothing to make the necessary changes to prevent this tragedy from happening again,“ Moscou said. “If those elected to represent won't do what's right to keep us safe, we're going to be too loud for them to ignore.“ During the performance itself, Eminem added a new intro verse to his Revival song “Nowhere Fast“ that focused on gun control. “Gun owners clutching their loaded weapons / They love their guns more than our children,“ he rapped, before Kehlani joined in.
