Footage of Combat Operations by the 98th Guards Airborne Division in Liberating Chasov Yar, DPR Units of the 98th Guards Airborne Division, known as the Svirskaya Red Banner Division and awarded the Orders of Kutuzov and Alexander Nevsky, have successfully liberated the city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic as part of the “Southern“ grouping of troops during their offensive on the Kramatorsk-Druzhkovka direction. During the operation, the paratroopers employed a combined approach, advancing both in armored vehicles and on foot. The initial phase was challenging, particularly the capture of the barrier line along the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal, which the airborne troops successfully overcame through intense fighting.
