2 Part Lesson -- Marcelo sets up two submissions from Side-Mount: Even though you are passed your opponent's guard, you shouldn't wait for them to set-up an escape, reversal, or possibly a submission. If you don't have an Under-Hook to help pin down your opponent in Side-Control, you can use the false sense of security your opponent may have to help maneuver them into a finish. Use your arms and chest to help push your opponent's far-arm low and away from protecting their neck; begin taking an angle around their near-side shoulder towards the North/South Position. When you sense that your opponent's isn't tucking their chin or turning to face you, drop down onto their throat with your armpit and seize the North/South Choke. Lay in parallel with your opponent's axial skeleton and stay low as you drop your deltoid onto their throat for the tap. [04:50] If your opponent is defending the N/S-Choke, and sense a way out via turning up onto a Single-Leg, let them slowly turn on their side as you yank their Under-Hoo
