Madhurashtakam is a popular devotional song composed by the great 15th-century saint Vallabhacharya glorifying the unlimited and sweet nature of Lord Sri Krishna. “Madhura“ means “sweet“, and “ashtakam“ means a composition of eight stanzas. It has been sung again in modern times by various reputed singers like M.S. Subbulakshmi, K.J. Yesudas and others. At ISKCON Bangalore, devotees offer a multitude of services to Their Lordships, Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra. Devotees engage in melodious kirtans and bhajans and prepare sattvic dishes from various unique ingredients. They also spread Lord Krishna's teachings to visitors of all ages. Conduct pravachans from the Srimad Bhagavatam every day. The temple also organizes grand festivals year-round, featuring diverse cultural programs for the pleasure of Their Lordships and enlightening the masses in Krishna consciousness.
