A simple 2D simulation of the Tesla Turbine. The air velocity increases during the simulation between two rotatable discs - here the front and back patch, not shown. Based on the friction of the air and the discs, a momentum exchange, and the discs start to rotate. The air is leaving the device at the center. As the velocity of the inserted air increases, the air has to do more circles between the two discs, and thus, a more substantial momentum exchange happens.
