Kamala Harris has been criticised for laughing during a press conference about Ukraine. The US Vice President Kamala Harris broke into inappropriate laughter after she was asked whether the US will take in Ukrainian refugees. The awkward moment took place during a joint press conference with Ms Harris and Poland President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw. The two leaders had been asked about the US accepting Ukrainian refugees or helping ease pressure on Poland’s strained humanitarian resources in other ways. When the reporter finished speaking, the pair looked at each other as if each expected the other to respond first. “OK,” Ms Harris finally said, to which Mr Duda chuckled. “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” she added before laughing loudly.
