Tracks 0:00 Voices Of The Air 3:13 The Ultimate Disaster 8:03 Migration 15:46 Another Land / The New Machine 27:10 Final Confrontation The Band Mr. Red: Vocals, Synthesizers Mr. Blue, Brown, and Green: Synthesizers, Bass Nessie Lessons: Vocals A Little Bit About The Album, by Me: In 1982 The Residents decided they wanted to embark on their first tour, and played around with many ideas... first idea was to do a traditional 'Best Of...' live show, which was rehearsed and released on their 'Assorted Secrets' album... the second idea was to do a musical theatre like adaptation of their album “Mark Of The Mole“... they had initally planned on using their more popular album 'Eskimo', but the Mole Show seemed like it would be better... This recording is of the 1982 rehearsals for the Mole Show... but it is not complete, the recording of “Happy Home“ from this session can be found on their 'Bonus Tunes' album from the same boxset, as well as some interesting performances of 'God Song', found on the recent pREServed release of Fingerprince, and 'Diskomo' on the pREServed released of Eskimo... perhaps these songs would have served as a prologue and epilogue to the story... I could see 'Diskomo' happily taking the place of 'Satisfaction' from the finished show.... Enjoy.!
