Originally sung in Japan by Southern All Stars under the title,“Itoshi No Ellie“ or “Ellie, My Love“, the song popularized in 1989 by the American singer, Ray Charles. In 1999, another version came out in the Philippines by the singer, April Boy Regino entitled, “Honey, My Love (So Sweet)“.
