In this video, I explain why Rocket League pros do that and why it actually helps them play better than they would otherwise. The reason is something that took me years to understand because I personally don't relate to it very much. However, after talking with a bunch of pros on the topic and coaching many high level players, I have learned exactly why these players do it. Surprisingly, it's not as dumb as you think.
