Hey there! Welcome to Day 20, and today I suggest we take the diphthong /oʊ/ which can be given by: - The letter O as in open or comb - The -oa- combination as in road - -oe- as in toe - -ow- as in low or row (but it also could be /au/ as in how or row) - -ough- as in dough (but it also could be /ʌ/ as in rough or /aʊ/ as in drought) - -ew- as in sew - In words with an open syllable looking like this: as in tone, note, dome or wrote, but this mask might also give /ʌ/ as in some or come, so be careful. 1. Poet Moe’s toes pose as he rows. 2. Rose Comb knows where the foes’ hose goes. 3. I don’t and won’t fold that cold moldy dough. ❤️ Support the challenge, leave a like, and a comment. See ya soon!
