In this video I share my review of a new dual narrowband filter from SvBony – SV220. It has 6nm bandpasses for Ha and OIII. I was using this filter during each clear night in October under different conditions (Moonlight skies and skies with no Moon). I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of details I was able to reveal using this filter. As of November 2, 2022 the filter is not on sale yet, and SvBony is planning to start sales of this filter in December. The price is not finally determined yet, but SvBony has shared with me the price should be around $160. If it’s the case, it should be a great offer! Gear I used to capture pictures I share in the video: Telescope: Sky-Watcher Evostar 80ED focal reducer Mount: Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro Camera: ZWO ASI 2600 MC Pro Guide-scope: SvBony SV165 Guide-camera: SvBony SV305 Filter: SvBony SV220 Additional note: SvBony has sent me a sample version of the filter that can be different from a commercial version.
