While we were writing for this new album, we began with the question: ‘If you were to describe GoldFish’s music in one sentence, what would it be?’ Cape Town, Ibiza And San Diego have been our homes around the globe; our whole career has been shaped making music somewhere warm and by the ocean. We brought the idea of #ifsummerwasasound to the awesome @ who flew down to San Diego from Hamburg for a few days…We drank Aperol Spritz’s, hung out at the beach, jumped on trampolines, played tennis, recorded a few beautiful takes…and this is the result.
