ABOUT 2022 PORSCHE TAYCAN The Porsche Taycan is a sporty luxury electric sedan and Porsche’s first EV. Since its debut, the Taycan has been one of the favorite cars on the road, electric or otherwise. Experts are impressed by the Porsche’s ability to both operate comfortably as a daily driver and deliver supercar-like performance with the press of a button. When it comes to range, the EPA estimates the base-model Taycan can go about 200 miles while the larger-battery model can cover up to about 227 miles. In Edmunds’ real-world EV-range testing, the Taycan managed to go significantly farther. For 2022, Porsche is enhancing the Taycan’s appeal even more. First up is a new GTS trim.
