’Garoto - composed in 2003 after lengthy musings on how influential and groundbreaking the legacy of Garoto’s guitar music has been in my life. The nexus between jazz, classical guitar and samba/choro as embodied in his works is a continual driver for me and my own music. There’s a timeless quality about this repertoire and it continues to absorb interesting artists and ideas in its wake. Curte-se!
