Marios Varvoglis (1885-1967) was a great composer and considered one of the founders of the Greek National School along with Manolis Kalomiris, George Labelet, Emilios Riadis and Dionysius Lavrangas at the first years of the 20th century. Born in Brussels, in 1902 he studied music in Paris at the Schola Cantorum and in Paris Conservatory.
