A piece of the Eternal Flame from Moscow on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow was delivered to the memorial complexes of the LPR and DPR A piece of the Eternal Flame, lit at the grave of the unknown soldier in Moscow, on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, military personnel of the Central Military District and representatives of the ‘People’s Front’ were delivered to the memorial complexes of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR) as part of the All-Russian action ‘Candle of memory’. The ceremony of handing over the Eternal Flame took place at the Saur-Mogila memorial complexes in the DPR and the Sharp Grave in the LPR, dedicated to the victims of the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
