Mor Acro is in Fez Morocco to see what all the hype is about this Morocco travel destination. Named the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco, Fez is steeped in rich history. The Fez medina is one of the largest car free urban zones in the world. We arrive at Le Grand Alcazar and get a quick rundown of Fez Riad building techniques and a little bit of history on Moroccan Riad construction and handicraft. Then it is time to visit Bab Boujloud, our entrance to the Fez Morocco medina. Our strategy is to follow the big road and let the toddler do the directing. We end up exploring Moroccan street food and various type of souks. In the end we make it back to our Riad Le Grand Alcazar for a runner of lamb tajine and seafood Bastilla. We also enjoy Moroccan lentils and candied pumpkin which reminded us of pumpkin pie. Our day in Fez Morocco was full of wonder and enchantment that only Morocco could deliver with it’s rich history and culture.
