Nearly 20 years ago I met my “shark-mate” we were both taking people out to learn about and swim with sharks. At the time there were few other people on the planet saying nice things about sharks so after many dives and a longer story than I can fit in the caption, we spent a lot of time with sharks together, saved some animals, and one day made a deal that “if a tiger shark showed up on wednesday, than I’d be his” the tiger shark “Ku’uipo” aka “Curly girl” showed up that day and she’s thanked on both our wedding rings. We’ve saved the lives of many more sharks and marine life since then and continue to do so. I am so grateful to the sharks for bringing us together and for those who have shown us kindness and support along our journey. Time flies and I am so grateful for you @JuanSharks you’re the best of the best and such a truly good person through and through, mahalo for being as patient with me as you are with the sharks. You’re so good at interacting and calming feisty lady sharks ;) Lol #Love
