Two hour walking tour of Downtown Montreal. Montreal is the second-most populous city in Canada, and most populous city in the Canadian province of Quebec. Montreal is one of the most bilingual cities in Canada, with over 59% of the population able to speak both English and French. Our walk starts in front of Notre Dame Basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The church is next to the Saint-Sulpice Seminary and faces the monument in memory of Paul de Chomedey, founder of Montreal in Place d'Armes square. Leaving the square, we make our way down the cobblestone roads towards Montréals famous Crew Collective Cafe. This café is undeniably among the most beautiful spots in all of Montreal. Located in the venerable and grand former headquarters of the Royal Bank of Canada – once the tallest building in the British Empire – in the heart of Old Montreal, the high ceilings, marble floors and brass cashier counters will surely blow you away.
