London. In a pub we see dart expert Joe Hitchcock doing stunts with darts. He knocks a cigarette out of the mouth of George 'Rubber' Cornell (Connell?) with a dart. Joe then throws 4“ nails at a dartboard, knocking a match out of George's mouth. Then Joe throws a nail at a sixpence in George's hand, knocking it out of his fingers and still scoring a bullseye with the nail! A crowd of men in caps and scarves watches. C/U of George's hands with matches placed under his dirty fingernails (yuk). Joe knocks each match off with a nail. George holds a sixpence in his mouth and Joe knocks it off with a dart or nail. Finally, Joe balances a coin on George's nose and knocks it off with a nail. Note: Joe and George used this act to raise funds for the St Dunstan's charity. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
