Queen Mary presents Colours to the Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey).“ M/S of a vicar blessing a heap of drums and regimental flag, he is watches by a crowd of people sheltering under umbrellas. M/S of several officers kneeling in front of a platform under a canopy, they hold up their regimental flags for Queen Mary to inspect. M/S of a battalion of troops marching across a field, they are watched by a large civilian crowd. C/U of Queen Mary beneath the canopy. Cuts / Out takes start at 01:43:42. Various shots of troops marching about outside Buckingham Palace, London. Includes shots of a brass band in busbies. Shots are edited to dissolve into each other. M/S of a soldier in a busby in his sentry box, ordinary people wander past. Shots appear to be from another Pathe Gazette story from around this time.
