After being inundated for two days, Dubai is now clearing its waterlogged roads and drying out flooded homes. The Dubai International Airport is also struggling to clear a backlog of flights while many roads remain flooded in the aftermath of the April 16 deluge. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) was inundated with water after storms dumped more than a year and a half’s rain in just a few hours. The rains were the heaviest experienced by the United Arab Emirates in the 75 years that records have been kept.
