Science is sometimes more important than English to me.✨ Please don’t shoot, but it just is. Science is all around us and we live through it. Even the smallest things around us can be explained by science. As a preschool teacher trained to create curriculums, I always see a connective web between the common ESL themes and preschool themes - that’s because they are connected in so many ways, and in some ways, they are one and the same. Take, for example color theory. Here’s what I did with one of my beginner students this week: 1️⃣ We took different colors and started lining up a rainbow. 2️⃣ This naturally lead to exploring why are the colors of the rainbow in this specific order. 3️⃣ We painted the primary colors of the rainbow. 4️⃣ We explored which amounts of paints are needed to create the secondary colors. 5️⃣ We topped it off by adding LEGO shapes on top of our rainbow and, I mean, you see it by now. 🔴What’s the message here? If you thought this child just learned to say PURPLE this week, you’re completely mistaken. ✨👇 They learned science, art, mathematics and English. If you’d like your child to receive a full-rounded preschool preparatory education in English and not just parrot English words back based on a 20-year old textbook (yes, I have a lot to say against textbooks because the majority of them is poorly done and I am not afraid to say it publicly.), let me know, because if you do, YOU ARE THAT SPECIAL PAREENT I AM LOOKING FOR. 💣📢 #englishforkids #englishforchildren #englishforprimary
